The Nail Parlour

Just finished a mani pedi at this salon. My sister and I opted for the Deluxe Glow Treatment with Masque. Thandar was my manicurist and she was super attentive and thorough right from the start. The experience was really nice and calm. I loved the masque and how they apply heat to really help with absorption. Left the salon feeling great :)

I had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure at 4.00 pm, yet I was made to wait 25 minutes with no proper explanation. At 4.25 pm, the receptionist came to scrub my feet. She clearly had no experience, appeared hesitant and unsure of what she was doing, and was not even in uniform, but in plain clothes—making it obvious she was not a trained therapist. I was told that Rebecca was supposed to do my nails, but that another customer took longer due to an added masque. However, shortly after, I saw Rebecca doing the nails of another walk-in customer who arrived after me. This made absolutely no sense and felt like blatant double standards. As I write this at 4.41 pm, my service still hasn’t properly started. This is horrible service and completely unacceptable, especially considering I paid in advance. Paying beforehand should not result in being deprioritised or treated poorly. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place based on this experience.

My first time to try Nail Parlour at Publika after reading many good reviews. All staff were friendly and helpful when I entered the shop. I got the basic manicure & pedicure done by Rebecca to try it out first. She took very good care of my nails and did a wonderful and professional job. I am very satisfied with the result. I didn’t feel any pain, Rebecca was very gentle & careful the whole time. I highly recommend her and Nail Parlour in general too. Thank you!
